This is not Thailand
Out of Luck. Not every country in this world of ours is like Thailand. This is Japan where Law is Law
On Jun 19, Former Bangkok police chief Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit arrived in Japan to visit a waste incineration plant in Tokyo, along with 80 delegates from Thailand. He was arrested on Monday, Jun 22 on his way back to Thailand, when officials at Tokyo’s Narita airport discovered a gun and ammunition in his luggage.
Of course, he
is was the Police. He just walked through security at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport without any X-rays or baggage check. I am sure, he even got the VIP Royal treatment and was escorted to his flight in style. Sorry “Boss” your Police badge doesn’t mean Sh*t in Japan. Follow the Law.
The former commander of Bangkok’s police force faces up to 10 years in jail if found guilty of violating Japan’s firearm control law.
