Valentina Novozhyonova – Russian Missing in Koh Tao
Valentina Novozhyonova, 23-year-old Russian has been missing for more than two weeks in Koh Tao. Valentina Novozhenova arrived in Bangkok on Feb, 7. She checked into the hotel on Koh Tao on Feb 11 and was due to check out on Feb 16 but never did. When the hotel staff checked her room, they found her bags, passport, mobile phone and camera in the room. Valentina Novozhyonova had visited Koh Tao to take diving courses.
Valentina Novozhyonova, 23-year is 170cm tall, with light brown hair and a “V” tattooed on her left wrist.
Koh Tao is located on the east side of the Surat Thani coastline with two neighboring islands, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. Koh Tao is officially a subdistrict of Koh Phangan in Surat Thani province.
Koh Tao – the name, in English, means ‘Turtle Island’ as the island used to be inhabited by turtles. The island’s shape is also thought to resemble a turtle when viewed from Koh Phangan. Koh Tao offers some of the best scuba diving in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Tao is one of the world’s top places to learn scuba diving because the competition among dive shops on the Island has made it one of the cheapest.
It’s a nice little Island to relax and rest after attending the famous Koh Phangan’s Full Moon Party.
Koh Tao is famous for frequent deaths of foreign visitors. Most significantly, the brutal double-murder of Brits Hannah Witheridge and David Miller in 2014.
How many people have to die on that Death Island before the mighty Thai Police arrest the real killers. Will they go after another two vulnerable people from Myanmar again to close that case so they look damn perfect.
I forgot, the mighty Thai police and the army forces are so busy surrounding the monks and Wat Phra Dhammakaya. to enforce Prayuth’s article 44 because that Temple has a lot of money and a lot of Gold status inside worth millions.
