When Thais meet their King, they must crawl before his feet and recite “ใต้ฝ่าละอองธุลีพระบาทปกเกล้าปกกระหม่อม” “May the power of the dust on the soles and the dust under the soles of your royal feet protect my head and the top of my head.”
On Friday, the mighty King of Thailand was so gracious and sent some “Royal Dirt” and a wreath to the funeral of the late foreign minister and Asean secretary-general Surin Pitsuwan who died on Thursday at 68 after a sudden heart attack.
What an honor. What a precious gift. What a Blessing! Thanks a million for your “Royal Dirt”.
