Out of Thailand
Yingluck Shinawatra fled to Dubai ahead of the verdict in her trial over a rice subsidy scheme. Yingluck went to Cambodia and then Singapore, where she flew to Dubai. It’s time to get Out of Thailand!
Thailand’s Supreme Court has issued an arrest warrant for Yingluck after she failed to show up in court on Friday. The verdict has now been postponed until Sept. 27.
Dubai is where her brother, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, lives. He went there to avoid a 2008 jail sentence for corruption.
The corrupt elites and Junta are so happy to see her flee the country to shame her as a runaway criminal and start seizing her assets, ban her from politics for life and end the Shinawatra for good.
Did Junta help her to escape ahead of the verdict to avoid any political unrest and stop her from being a legend in Thailand for generations to come?
Anyway there is no Justice in “Junta..Land”. She stayed and fought till last minute, and when she saw no justice in sight or no interference by the new playboy King to stop that circus. She joined her brother in exile.
The court confiscated her 30 million baht bail money on Friday but I hope that she manged to take the rest of her fortune out of Thailand before the escape.
I wish that Yingluck will be able to handle the pressure of living overseas, away from her roots and her beloved people who adored her dearly and treated her like a princess. Anyway, that pressure she endured in the last couple of years under Junta was unbearable and got the best out of her.
